As a product designer with a background in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), I feel I have a unique combination of skills and perspective. I studied neuroscience and applied cognition to build an understanding of how the brain processes information. This helps me design interfaces that align with cognitive functions, improving usability and user engagement. This also allows me to empathize with users on a deeper level.
Additionally, I understand how important it is to leverage research to inform design choices. This is true whether it's utilizing data to specifically consider attention, perception, and memory to create more effective user experiences, or to increase user engagement and drive faster speed to value.
Over the past 4 years i've mostly done design work in Figma and Figjam, Mural, and Miro for collaborative workshops. For notes and documentation I typically use Dropbox Paper and the google suite.
